During our recent family vacation at Johannesbad, we found it to be a delightful retreat for nature lovers like us. Situated just 200 meters from the ski lift, we effortlessly hit the slopes at Gastein Ski Resort each day, taking advantage of the complimentary ski shuttle that whisked us to the heart of the action. Our days began with a generous breakfast, offering both cooked and continental options, which provided ample energy for our adventures. After skiing, we loved unwinding in the pool and spa area. The two saunas, steam room, and lovely quiet relaxation areas made for a perfect retreat, especially after a long day outdoors. The hotel was centrally located, making it easy to explore local walking trails or enjoy ice skating right in town. We appreciated the variety of activities available, such as sledding and snowshoeing, ensuring there was never a dull moment for the kids. A special mention goes to Marlene, whose exceptional service left a lasting impression on us. Johannesbad offered a warm atmosphere, perfect for families seeking both adventure and relaxation in the beautiful Austrian Alps.
